I completely forgot i had a blog, to be honest. But then i remembered it as i was looking at my sisters blog because it was written on her friends list thingy. So here i am! Chances are I will forget to post for another year, ha ha, but I wanted to share something so exciting with the world.......

CHRIS IS BAPTIZED! Thats right. My boy is finally a mormon boy. :) Let me tall ya, its been a long road comin. But deep in my heart, for stranger reasons than i can comprehend, I knew that there was purpose behind the friendship and relationship that we have.

the missionaries. His sister jaime, who was baptized five years ago, and her husband parker. They are remarkable. With each missionary lesson, I saw a complete turn around in chris. He absorbed every little detail that he was taught. He memorized the articles of faith, he asked great questions. His eyes were opened. I witnessed the strength of the holy ghost touch him. When i think of chris' state, i think of the scriptural term "like a child." Elder stevens said normally, they do discussions to prepare someone for it. But chris was already there. He's been ready.

Not only did the missionaries teach him so well, but he considers them his friends. Chris was Elder Hansen's first baptism and i could tell elder hansen was ELATED that chris chose him to do it. So sweet. Theres nothing more touching than to watch two friends hug after baptism by immersion. Reminds me so much of the picture of christ hugging john.

At his baptism, I must say, I have never felt the spirit so strongly. His entire family was there to support him. Keep in mind not all of them are members. That is HUGE. What a great family he has. The room was packed with people there to support him. There were smiles, tears, and heavy emotions on a day that none of us will forget. As I watched him fall back into the water I Knew he was making the right choice. He is loved SO MUCH not only by me, but by our families and his friends. And he will have a remarkable future. And I am so thankful for him refreshing my testimony. He has not only changed, but I have too. This church is without a doubt true. And it is clear to me that heavenly father has big plans for each of us in this world, and he loves us all. Every single one of us. For anyone who came to the baptism, chris is so thankful. Theres no stronger manifestation of its truth than to watch chris, who, at one time did everything he could to NOT be at church, is now a member of it.I love him so much. He was overwhelmed with the supportfrom everyone. Here are a few pictures from the night.
