I've gotten a little lazy with blogging. Haha, and ive gotten a bit busy as well. I finally got a job, at Pet Club. Its a privately owned pet store for natural foods and supplies. Like the boutique version of a clothing store, for example. Its okay. Its definitely going to have to work at least until christmas!
Ultimately im just glad to have the job, but its soooo not something im all that good at. Im a clothing store girl. Im used to registers that do all the work for me, Im used to giving opinions on what to wear with what. At my new job, customers come in and ask what kind of dog food will help a dog with cancer, what kind of dog food helps animals with parvo, do we have plaque remover for dogs, what vitamins do you reccomend. and my favorite so far...."can you help me take my dog food to my car?" I am most definitely not used to lifting those bags all day long. And the register...is. so. confusing. Im just hoping i can get the hang of things so I can actually help customers out without having to grab someone. Starting a new job is always stressful, but this one took it up another level for me. At this time, im really really missing my old job at Shade Clothing. Sometimes you dont know what you have till its gone :(
I had a great thanksgiving! Lots of family fun. and a 32 pound turkey that im STILL eating. haha. And another plus, my sweet sister in law touched up my hair for FREE! Thats always nice. Hair can be expeeeeeensive.
Other than that, not much going on. I am thrilled that christmas season is finally here!!! Im currently in a fuzzy robe, with the christmas tree beside me, listening to Andrea Boccelli's (sp?) Christmas Special on PBS, dog asleep on the couch.
This time of year i am just so much happier. I love being able to hug chris and warm up, not sweat. I can work out without over-heating. I can enjoy the hot showers. Winter is just BETTER in arizona.
Im missing my sister vanessa. Shes in colorado with her family now. But they seem to be loving it so im glad. I cant wait to visit. They are going to come down to spend christmas with us!! you have nooooo idea how excited i am about this. Normally we do our family party a week or so before christmas, but this year were doing it christmas eve. Which i think is so much fun to have everyone around on actual christmas. And its so fun to have little kids around, tearing open presents. Thats part of the reason i love it all. Little kids have such a glow during the holidays. The excitement for santa to come, the magical feelings they get, the silly christmas movies, the thrill of FINALLY opening the presents....sometimes i wish I could be little again on christmas!
Well thats all for now. Im going to make some Hot COCOA and snuggle with my lil puppy. Hopefully watch a movie before bed.
NIGHT!

I feel pretty, oh so pretty!
Since i was a little one, i have HATED school. I hated math, i hated teachers, i hated waking up, i hated homework, and in highschool, i hated my peers, (not all but most, haha)
Here I am, two years graduated and I have finally found something that I actually feel excited about. I'm going to be an Aesthetician. Which is a seven month, 600 hour cosmetology program with skin care. But its not just a vain occupation. These chemical peels and facials, (and probably laser hair removal) can be really necessary for people who have alot of skin problems. And from what i have seen the results are just wonderful. I myself have started to get some really icky skin problems. I know my skin is NOT healthy.
You learn makeup expertise, how to apply it professionally, etc. You also learn how to treat acne, with all sorts of treatments, and substances. Ive been researching like crazy to make sure this is something i really want to do and all of the signs have pointed to yes. For some reason i am just SO EXCITED. And i love the school i will be at. The staff and instructors were so kind to me. Ive made visits to other schools (for hair) and hated them all. They were snobby, and immediately wanted my money. This school was none of that. The women got to know me on a comfortable level, talking about their families, careers, how the owner hates the hair industry (shes a beautician). I just loved it and i am SO STINKIN EXCITED.
Heres to me finally doing something of value. Its about darn time :)
Ill keep you (whoever is even reading this) updated on it.
Here's a little bit about the career.

^^The boy who bought my my very first android phone :) Chris is amazing. He Manages Diamond Wireless (Verizon Retailer) at Fiesta. He got hired as a salesman, was an MIT after three months and has now been a manager for a couple months. The guys does good at everything....hes SUCH a great manager. He really knows his stuff. Hes always finishing high at the top of the market.I Cant imagine what he'll be up to after he finishes school! And im the lucky girl who gets to witness it (well i hope...haha) I only like him for his money :o)
I remember when the iPhone came out and it was the coolest thing id ever seen. Remember when cell phones were little rectangles with black and green screens and loud ringtones? Then it was a big deal when they got COLOR SCREENS and ringtones that actually sounded like songs! And then came the iPhone.
But let me just say one thing...
